Privacy Policy Effective date: April 1, 2026 Ifade ("the App", "we", "us", "our") is built and maintained by Ifade Developer, an independent developer. This Privacy Policy explains what information is and is not collected when you use Ifade or visit ifade.io. In short: Ifade is a local-first application. We do not collect, store, sell, or share your personal data. There is no analytics SDK in the App, no account system, no tracking pixels, and no advertising integration. ------------------------------------------------------------ 1. Information You Create ------------------------------------------------------------ All notes, files, screenshots, OCR text, settings, and other content you create or import inside Ifade are stored locally on your device, inside the .ifade package(s) you choose. We never upload, read, or transmit this content. If you choose to sync those files yourself (for example via iCloud Drive, Dropbox, Git, or another tool), that sync is governed by the third-party service you chose, not by us. ------------------------------------------------------------ 2. Information We Do Not Collect ------------------------------------------------------------ We do not collect: - Names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any identity data - Account credentials (the App has no account system) - Note content, file contents, file names, folder structures, or metadata - Usage analytics, telemetry, click events, screen views, or session data - Crash reports or diagnostics that contain personal data - Device identifiers (IDFV, MAC, advertising IDs, etc.) - Location data - Contacts, calendar, photo library content, or microphone input The App does not contain any third-party SDK whose purpose is to collect analytics, advertising, attribution, or behavioral data. ------------------------------------------------------------ 3. Software Updates ------------------------------------------------------------ Ifade can check for new versions by fetching a version manifest (an "appcast") and downloading update packages. These files are served from object storage hosted on Cloudflare R2 / Amazon S3-compatible infrastructure. When your copy of the App requests an update file, the storage provider will process technical request data (such as IP address, request time, and HTTP user agent) for the sole purpose of delivering the requested file and basic abuse prevention. We do not maintain user-level logs and do not associate any request with an individual person. We do not use this data for analytics, profiling, or marketing. You can disable update checks in the App at any time. ------------------------------------------------------------ 4. Website (ifade.io) ------------------------------------------------------------ The marketing website does not set tracking cookies and does not embed third-party analytics or advertising scripts. The hosting provider may keep short-lived access logs (IP, user agent, requested path) for security and operations; we do not use those logs to build user profiles. ------------------------------------------------------------ 5. Children's Privacy ------------------------------------------------------------ Ifade is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect data from children. ------------------------------------------------------------ 6. International Users ------------------------------------------------------------ Ifade is offered worldwide. Because we do not collect personal data, there is no cross-border transfer of personal data initiated by us. Update files are served from globally distributed object storage; the file delivery itself is not a transfer of personal data within the meaning of GDPR / UK GDPR / CCPA / PIPL, since no identifiable user data is collected by us. ------------------------------------------------------------ 7. Your Rights ------------------------------------------------------------ Because we do not hold personal data about you, there is normally nothing for us to access, export, correct, or delete on your behalf. Security ------------------------------------------------------------ Your content stays on your device. The security of your local files depends on your device, your operating system, your disk encryption, and any sync service you choose to use.
